I want a restart button for battles, like in Heroes of Might and Magic III (HOTA). In HOTA, you can start a battle, finish it, and if you don't like the result, you can replay it right there (there was a button at the bottom left). I would like to make my life easier with such a button; is there a mod that does this or something similar?

Good afternoon, I hope the question is still relevant. It is unlikely that such a mod exists for Heroes 5, but there is a line in the config file that controls autosaving before a battle. To enable this function, go to the My games folder, select the desired add-on, then Profiles\Profile Name. We need the file user.cfg, user_a1.cfg, or user_a2.cfg. Open it with Notepad and search for the line "var autosave before battle" (I don't remember the exact name of the line and don't have the ability to check right now). Change the value from 0 to 1 and save.
