Hello everyone, I have a question. Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia crashes very often. Can you suggest what can be done about it?

Do they crash with a specific error (which should be screenshotted) and in a specific situation? Or is it random? I remember there were crashes when viewing the kingdom overview in city view mode. But this was in the original version; it doesn't happen in the HD mod (it happens in other situations, but very rarely). Here's what you can do: 1. If you have a clean "Complete Collection" without the HD mod, install the HD mod on it. 2. If the crashes continue, find and download another version (another repack) of the "Complete Collection," save all your saved games and downloaded maps (move them from the Games and Maps folders to another location), delete the game, and install the other version. I can offer a stable repack in a private message.

Download and run the installer. Then, launch the launcher, and in the launcher window, set the desired parameters (you don't have to change them). Check the box in the "No CD/DVD" field. I also download and add a Russian superpack, which changes the fonts and texts to be more convenient (than in the "Complete Collection"). On the "Tweaks" tab, I also set Sys.CPU.ReduceUsage = 1 (reduces CPU usage, but may not be suitable for those with gaming mice that have a very high polling rate for cursor coordinates). Another useful option there is UI.Tavern.InviteHero = 1, which allows you to invite (find) a desired hero from the available ones in the tavern.
The HD+ option includes bug fixes for the game, but it also introduces some effects that are important for single-player maps: it changes the arrangement of obstacles on the battlefields.
