Oh, I forgot to add that. I've added it now.

Check out that special training session...

I nod to her and walk past the statue of Artheria.

I would take it, but it can't be role-played. That is, not at all.

You can role-play it based on the principle that Anders was going to return Victor's book, but he ACCIDENTALLY ran into Alessia, and her gaze caught sight of the book about demons that fell out of the guy's bag. It's not the best option, of course, but nothing better comes to mind.

I'm just saying, it's not enjoyable to play that way.
But even if there's no other option, I'll consider playing the game without using that exploit (actually playing, not just cheating for experience) as my moral compensation for not being able to pick a race with negative bonuses.

! Swimming competitions
Amelia

While browsing the bulletin board, Kalentia's gaze couldn't help but linger on Amelia's announcement. She remembered that in her childhood, she loved to swim in the pond near her village in her free time, sometimes even competing with other children there. Although these competitions rarely ended in her favor – no matter how hard the girl tried to outdo her scaly peers, water was their natural element, and they easily outmatched Kalentia, to her great annoyance. By the time she moved to Baldr, her interest in swimming had waned somewhat, not least because of the flood she had experienced, and then she became fascinated with the military craft. But now, after many years, perhaps it would be good to try her hand at her old hobby again?
I'm going to Amelia to find out the details.

Knowing full well that most of her days off ended the same way — sitting with a book — Alessia began the day with a visit to the Truth, hoping to find some new food for thought.

Today, the shelves of the "Truth" store held the following books:

Ragnit and Ragniy - 100
774 - 100
Animals of Trakia - 100
Kuvayama - 300
Mirai - 500
Guide to Elheim - 420

— I'll take it. — Air placed "774" and a hundred seliks in front of the shopkeeper.
— And here I thought you came to buy the guide.
— Why's that?
— Oh, just heard the baron wants to send you to Elheim, and you're usually not the type who likes to read.
— Fancy the "Lion's Fang," did you? — Air joked, tapping her fingers on the scabbard of her saber. — I'd read about the lands of Yamato, but it's pricey, and "774," if the blurb is to be believed, is about our Vergilius among other figures, so I got curious who this Yan Dere is and how he knows him.

— Yes, that's exactly what I meant.

—I understand... But still, Leo, I don't quite understand where your advisory capabilities end. Are you just very smart and therefore able to analyze any situation well? Or do you also know everything about everyone? For example, we rescued a girl – Anders recounted the rescue, truthfully conveying the details of what happened – could you tell us something about her?

Near the statue of Arterius, Veserod finds Yua deep in thought.

✧ House of Gulveig
Bookshelf: Gladiators (+1% to experience).

It's amusing that the book that Gulveig didn't even open still gives her a bonus to experience simply by its existence...

Not wanting to disturb her concentration with trivialities, I walk past the infirmary.

Carefully adjusting the recently hung children's drawing, Ilva stepped back a few paces and, placing her hand on her hip, critically examined the wall adorned with the artwork. "Yes, this looks good." She nodded decisively, her tone businesslike, and turned her gaze to her roommate. "So, what do you think?" The tired Renold was sprawled in front of a small dining table, where a cup of unfinished coffee had been sitting since morning. "I think it looks great," he said, forcing a cheerful tone. "Hmm, or maybe it should be moved over there..." Ilva murmured thoughtfully. "Then we could move the cabinet to its place, and the chest of drawers to the left." "But I think it looks perfect as it is," Renold quickly interrupted. "It looks perfect to you," his sister grumbled, dissatisfied. "But you hung the old sword as a battle trophy, when its place is at the market or in the storage room." "No way," Renold said, casting an affectionate glance at the weapon hanging on the wall. "We've been together since childhood. A weapon is a warrior's soul; you can't treat it like that." Ilva muttered something in response but didn't argue, and went outside into the small but cozy garden. Here, her eyes were pleased by the beautifully grown rayflowers, cheerfully smiling in the spring sunshine. Bending over the flowers, the girl created a stream of pure water on the tip of her index finger and carefully began to water the plants. Ilva began to think about how else she could decorate her new home. This always lifted her spirits and distracted her from the unpleasant memories associated with her recent trip to Tamfana. The big city hadn't looked the way she had imagined. And the horrors they had encountered in the stuffy dungeons of the lake had made her put off any talk of leaving Baldur for an entire month. On the other hand, Ilva was burdened by the uncertainty associated with the baron's assignments – when would this madman send them on another deadly mission? They were his wards, still children, not a squad of mercenary thugs. She wanted to find a way to break out of this vicious cycle, but to her disappointment, she saw absolutely no way to carry out her plan. The door slammed shut behind her, and Ilva turned around: Renold, in full armor, was heading towards the main road. "I'm going to check out the training hall," he said, as expected, when he was level with his sister. "Don't stay out too late," Ilva said, giving her daily instructions. "And don't be late for dinner." The lovers exchanged a warm farewell kiss and went about their business. Renold, inspired by Gungnir's instructions, hurried to find out the details of the new training session, and Ilva, having finished her chores, decided to take a walk to the market to buy groceries and ingredients for a new magical coffee that Claudia had taught her how to make.

"Wonderful news to start the day. First, that Tamphan garbage dump, now the Elheim bandit lair. I wonder if I'll live to see the day when the baron sends us to Artoria, at least." -- Jan Dere has a long, agile, and very obsequious tongue with a sting at the end; that's what you need to know about him. And to the shopkeeper: -- A guidebook and "Kuvayamu," please -- Alessia casually took a heavy purse from her bag, its hundreds of seliks making a pleasant sound.

Private Veserod is just a regular patrolman; I wouldn't be surprised if he also wears a red armband.

Perhaps I'll try my luck in the arena with a foreign hero, provided that the training doesn't offer any interesting skills.

Then, before leaving, I buy a flower (that very one) and go to the church to give it to Amaldine (or Almadine?). - I don't really know much about flowers, but I thought you might like them, - Anselm says as he hands the priestess his small gift. (I'll save the big one for later.) - And yes, I'm ready for today's task.

Following the path that Veserod showed her, Kalentia reaches Victor's house. The owner of the house is comfortably seated in a folding chair, fishing.
