I have a licensed DVD version of Heroes 5 v1.0. Here's the situation: I was playing the campaign, and I had almost completed it, but then Windows crashed. I had to reinstall the operating system. After reinstalling the OS, I reinstalled the game in the same location (D:\games\heroes 5), but when I launched it, I couldn't see any saved games. It's as if I hadn't played anything. Where are the save files for Heroes, and how can I load them now? And another question: where can I find the official patch for Heroes 5?

By default, the game saves my progress to: C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\Profile Name\Saves.

If you reinstalled Windows XP, you don't even need to look for it. It deletes everything...
