Nickname Auto-translated

Gentlemen, could you please advise if it's possible, and if so, how? Can you create a nickname in the online game using hot-seat mode (on the same computer) that is longer than 10 characters? After all, the default player name, such as "red player," "brown player," etc., is longer than 10 characters, but the system accepts it, while a nickname you enter that is longer than 10 characters is not allowed.
