and also, there's this thing, Revan... I think I missed the part about the intelligence requirement for the story... what should I do now?
Well, just transfer 1 point from somewhere.

Oops, I copied something extra in red text. It's not that bad...

and what is this?
The hero, as befits a hero, shared some of his unique traits with other constellations. Inspired by his noble act, other constellations also became a little stronger.

does this mean heroes can gain two more skills?

Is it worth taking this?
Scouting the surroundings
On the adventure map, a character can explore locations separately from the party [1]
If this is available?
Topography
1. A character can sketch a map of the area (the nearest locations from the party in unexplored territories). Determines the terrain and the presence of any structures, and also detects traces of other people and animals [3]
Aren't both essentially scouting, or what?

The former will help you get a general idea of what to expect from neighboring locations, while the latter will allow you to go there yourself and explore it in detail.

The second option will help you get a general idea of what to expect from nearby locations, while the first option will allow you to go there yourself and explore it in detail.
Then I'll take scouting the surroundings and save a point for later.

Ar, so you're picking a history buff? Otherwise, I might have to pick erudition/a bookworm.
