I am announcing a new offline tournament with no limits.

Registration start: 04/20/2020;
Participation conditions:
- be a registered HW user,
- announce your participation through all available channels for the organizers,
- register before the tournament deadline;
Game version: classic HMM3 HD Edition;
Starting save: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/29zf/2bWVVzZ3V (load through Campaigns, created in HD version);
Start date: 04/21/2020;
Duration:
- the duration is unlimited (no limit) until the following conditions are met,
- final saves are sent by 5-10* people,
- after the minimum set period (one month*) from the start date, more than 5-10 saves are sent.
Tournament end:
- after the tournament deadline, registration ends,
- participants who have not sent saves by this time must complete the Walkthrough in one attempt, which they must complete within a month*,
- participants who have already sent saves have one more attempt, which must be sent no later than 1-3 days* after the tournament ends,
- the tournament ends completely when at least one save is received from all participants,
- then, after sending the last saves within 1-3 days*, the tournament is closed and the final results are summarized;
Results:
- participants can send their saves multiple times until the end of the tournament,
- saves must be sent to the email address: gorrr@tut.by,
- a condition for accepting a new save from the same participant is a significant improvement in the result,
- as saves are received, a tournament table is formed, which is updated until the end of the deadline;
Determining the winner:
- the shortest time to victory*, and in case of a tie - by accumulated assets* (more details later),
- availability of a description of the winning path (if necessary).

It might be too easy for experienced players, but it's good for a warm-up. I think beginners will enjoy it.
And, following the rules, I'll try to improve the result.

My attempt to load your starting save in the original "Complete Collection" resulted in the game crashing, and in the HD mod, it caused the game to freeze (both with and without HD+ and SOD_SP enabled). I don't know what's causing this, but it's not good. I'd like to hear from anyone else who has tried loading this starting save: does it work for them?

Hello Marmont! I sent additional information in a private message; please try loading the save file with this information. Are you loading it through the campaign? In the original RoE, it also kicked me out... If nothing helps, I suggest creating a similar save file through you; anyway, only I am officially participating for now, and it won't hurt me. :) Of course, if the game works for me afterward. ;)

I checked the website using your link: it seems that this is because you are using the HD re-release. And, strangely enough, the file format is different there...
Most players use the original edition (The Shadow of Death or Complete Collection) with our HD mod - you can see the statistics here, for example: http://heroes3.tv/

The saves will still not be exactly the same due to different random resource generation, secondary hero skills offered upon leveling up, and so on. In such a (standard) map/campaign, this shouldn't significantly affect the playthrough and speed, but for the fastest modern players, there might be some difference. Let them and other interested players weigh in.

Yes, if anyone has any questions, we will consider them. But so far, no one has officially signed up... Personally, I'm not a super player, so it's not that important to me. Personally, I just want to revive the offline movement on HW a bit. Victory is not the main goal.

So, a month has passed since the start of the tournament. This means that the conditional limit of one month has expired. Now, the end can come when the required minimum number of saves is submitted: 5-10. However, if the excitement remains the same, we will probably reduce this number to 3-5.
