When I type in the game chat in Russian, question marks appear instead of letters, although everyone else seems to be able to type in Russian normally.

I thought it might be related to the SoD build, but the same thing happens in HotA. I downloaded HotA from their official group's link, and SoD from somewhere on Yandex Disk, as Redwait suggested.

I used to think it might be something in my operating system, like some language settings, etc., but here I'm using Linux, and it's the same thing.

True, both on my desktop and here, both systems are in English, in case that's relevant.

The problem is solved. I needed to change the operating system language to Russian.

In short, if the OS is not in Russian, you won't be able to type in the chat in Russian.

And the fun continues. It's not that simple.

I switched Windows 10 to Russian – it didn't help.

It doesn't depend on the system fonts. I had Windows 95 English, and there were no font-related issues. The game uses its own fonts.

Then who knows what’s going on. Do you have any ideas? Maybe you should enable compatibility mode, just like you advised that girl with memory issues?

I heard that if you install the Russian version of the game, everything works fine, but I'm not sure.
