There was a time when my brother and I were playing Heroes on a randomly generated map against four AI opponents. A problem arose on turn 65 (we saved the game after each turn). It turned out that my territory was enclosed and isolated: there were no portals or dungeons. We decided to edit the landscape, but the problem is that the save file preserves the map as it was originally, and the edited map can only be played from the beginning. The question is, how can I edit the save file or how can I apply it to the modified map? There is a program called "Heroes III SaveEditor," and in it, you can, of course, cheat and add flight to a character, but it's still not the same, and besides, mana is consumed. If there is a solution, please let me know.
