In the topic about viewing, I mentioned using it to search for the Grail on unexplored territory. Since then, I've practiced a bit and gained (almost) complete confidence in the method. And now, I offer everyone who wants to test this confidence. The essence of the challenge is as follows: you generate a map, upload screenshots of the puzzle and viewing (do not upload the save!). I indicate the exact location of the puzzle. You reveal it, check it, confirm it. If everything goes smoothly, I will show and explain in detail how and what I use. Anyone can master it. Or someone might manage to send me away in disgrace to work on my mistakes :-)

Participation procedure:

1. A Full HD monitor* (1920x1080) is required.

2. In the launcher settings of the HD mod, set the resolution to 1920x1080, full screen.



3. In single player, generate a map on the Mini-Nostalgia template (L+U) without banning obelisks.



4. After loading the map, immediately (while you haven't explored anything yet), take screenshots of viewing the land with a hero who has an expert skill. The cheat code nwcneo gives instant level up; repeat until you max out the earth skill. The cheat code nwcthereisnospoon - all spells and mana. Take a screenshot of the entire screen, view in x4 mode - two views for each surface, first as close as possible to the top edge, then to the bottom.





5. Save the game for future verification. Save it reliably.

6. Open 3 obelisks if the puzzle is underground and 5 obelisks if it is on the surface. Take a screenshot of the screen with the opened puzzle. At this stage, you can already open the map and use other cheat codes to make it easier to move around (nwcnebuchadnezzar - movement points, nwctrinity - army, nwcwhatisthematrix - map). However, take a screenshot on a surface different from the location of the puzzle (so that the desired place does not accidentally get into the frame)



7. Wait for my response, load the save, and check the location of the puzzle (nwcoracle - opens the entire puzzle completely).

The exact location of the puzzle. I don't think it's possible to indicate the exact location of the Grail without seeing the cross, but there are some patterns, and they have probably already been noticed by excavation enthusiasts. This is a separate topic about which cells to check first, i.e., where the probability is higher and where it is lower. But for this, first, you need to determine the exact location of the puzzle and its center, and then make some offsets from this center.

Regarding the mushroom specifically (and it's good if there is one) - the point of the topic is not just to find the Grail once or find it in half of the cases (this can be done even with just one obelisk), but to do it always and without errors with the specified number of obelisks.

Can I opt out?

Participation is obviously voluntary and currently open:-) But seriously, it would be interesting to get the most difficult case from the excavation master.

And in general, I am not only not against selecting tricky cases, but even the opposite - the more valuable the test.

The grid is a bit crooked, but it seems like 5 cells are suitable for excavations.
