Now, something needs to be done about this fox. Lingard approached the sleeping girl and... drew his dagger. No, not the one he used some time ago on Abigail, but a real, steel, and very sharp one, the blade of which he had already placed against her beautiful neck and was about to take her life, but then he looked the girl up and down again and put the dagger away. However, why not try doing that with her? Such adventures are much more enjoyable than the gleam of coins and treasures. And if it doesn't work out, then nothing can be done, I'll finish what I started. The rogue looked out the window and, with some disappointment, noted that the distance to the ground was at least thirty feet. After attaching the "cat" to the window, Lingard remembered the only time he had done something similar, it was about ten years ago, when he kidnapped the mayor's daughter from a small island right from his house. For safety, he also used his sleeping potion so that Abigail would not wake up at the most unfortunate moment for him. Then he wrapped her in his cloak, put her on his back, and used the clothes he found as ropes so that she would not fall off him during the descent.

I'm so jealous that I'm shipping myself with myself.
- First, I need to pick something up," the pair headed towards "Deepwell," and a few minutes later, Lingard returned with a hunting rifle in his hands and handed it to the girl along with two dozen cartridges. "Here, take it. I hope I don't get a bullet in the back of the head the next time I turn my back on you."
- I'll show you an illusion, you bitch. - Backing away towards Abigail, the scammer throws a smoke grenade, leans against the girl to feel her and for her to know his location, and then starts shooting from a pistol, checking with a compass.

Alas, that magic is gone forever. I blame the gray text and the relentless passage of time.
No, the problem with the gray text was simply that it sometimes significantly slowed down the game when making various key decisions, nothing more. On the other hand, many moments were quite fun to discuss, remember Shabed, for example. (I'm using him as an example because he wasn't in the first expansions.) So, here it's just time, as with any other good game; nostalgia remains and makes us close our eyes to obvious shortcomings, but that very atmosphere cannot be recreated.
