New Year 2017 Tournament

Tournament dates: from January 7, 2017, to February 28, 2017 (inclusive!)

Foreword: To popularize the open-source implementation of the Heroes of Might and Magic 2 game (fheroes2t800) and to attract both old and new players, the New Year 2017 mod was created!

The current modification radically changes the overall game atmosphere and creates a festive New Year mood!

Since the New Year 2017 mod was developed specifically for you, dear players, fans of Heroes of Might and Magic 2, it is suggested that you install this modification by following these steps, in order to significantly improve your mood and immerse yourself in the old, good world in a new way: :smile09: :smile54: :smile44:

1. Install the game from here on your phone or tablet;
2. Register to participate in the tournament by sending an email to t800@kvkozyrev.org or by writing in this thread
3. Complete the tournament map and send the final save to t800@kvkozyrev.org or publish it in this thread on Handbookhmm.ru, along with a screenshot from the ranking.

The winners will receive prizes and awards from the HandbookHMM Reference!

TOURNAMENT RULES

I. General Provisions

1. Anyone can participate in the tournament. To do this, you must familiarize yourself with the rules, install Free Heroes 2 (T-800 mod), complete the task (complete the tournament map), and send the final save to the email address: t800@kvkozyrev.org or publish it in this thread on Handbookhmm.ru
2. During the game, it is recommended to make daily saves, which may be needed by the host for verification, or by players after the tournament.

Condition for winning the tournament: You must complete the tournament map and defeat the Fake Santa Claus in the minimum number of days :smile49:

Restrictions on completion

1. It is forbidden to use cheat codes and hack saves using specialized programs in a clean playthrough;
2. It is forbidden to move a hero who was bought back or ransomed in battle on the day he escaped/was ransomed. It is allowed to buy back such a hero on the day of escape/ransom;
3. The use of the "Haunt" spell and the "feeding spirits" technique is prohibited, i.e., only one battle with this squad of ghosts is allowed, and it is mandatory to make a save before the battle and immediately after it.

Daily saves are recommended.

Download the fheroes2t800ny2017rus.zip archive from the link above
Unzip the fheroes2t800ny2017rus.zip archive into any folder
Go to the fheroes2t800ny2017rus directory
Run fheroes2t800.exe
And play the New Year 2017 TOURNAMENT :smile20:
