I knew I'd catch him.
Noticing the sorcerer's return, Meonar stopped grooming himself.
- Curiosity, - said Vaaon, in an unfamiliar, girlish voice.

:p

— I see you still chose life. So, how is it?

Maybe technically it's now a she, but the consciousness remains male. So, it's fine.

And Captain Revan in Shabete immediately started acting moody and hysterical...

- Not very. I never imagined what it would be like to be a woman. And such a weak one. Do you know how to get out of here? I need to get to the city. Or are you going to conduct Ishnadian experiments on me?

Maybe I'll treat you the same way you treated your victims? That would be very ironic, ho-ho-ho.

- I have no doubt about that. Nor do I doubt that she might devise some deadly scheme against me or my caravan. I don't think she expected anyone of us to survive that attack, and now I am the last witness. The question is, what are her goals, and what can be done about it.

Vaaon looked disapprovingly at the sorcerer.
- Maybe my new body would have liked it, but not with such an old man.

— Oh? So, only my age bothers you? Hoo, little one, I wasn't even planning on touching you myself! — The bald warlock once again used black magic, but this time in a more primitive way: an ugly monster of enormous size appeared in the room...

If the monster is still in the room, move into its body.

Revan is even more ruthless than I thought...

That's all a Warlock...

Ah, I should have immediately cast a spell on him as soon as I saw him...

Vaon came to his senses only the next day.

He probably has very low Wisdom. He won't have enough mana for another spell.

His Willpower is probably extremely high. The spell wouldn't have worked anyway.
