Hello, I already asked the first part of this question, but I haven't found a solution yet. But I have some more ideas.

1. The problem is this: I bought Heroes 5 on Steam, downloaded it from there, launched it, and couldn't play online. Because I get the error "Game server disconnected the game" both when creating a game and when connecting. After searching the internet, I came to the conclusion that this error is not only happening to me, but for some reason, no one knows how to fix it. Neither opening ports nor disabling the firewall brought me any closer to success. But there is another question. Namely...

2. Can I, having the game key (which can be viewed in Steam), download the Heroes client from the Ubisoft website and manually patch it to version 3.1? Or will I have to purchase Heroes 5 from them as well?

I hope this helps, because Steam downloads version 3.1 directly, but on Ubisoft, as I understand it, it's version 3.0... maybe Steam has a buggy build.... Please, someone help me :(

Ubi also uses version 3.1, so the problem lies elsewhere!

Try creating an account on Ubi and then, when connecting in the game, enter the existing serial number! :smile42:

Since you already have a purchased version of the game, try installing the non-Steam pirated version 3.1 on your computer (it won't be a pirated version for you since you bought it). And then enter your key into it.
