Hmm. It's just that it's not very clear: everything is in a foreign language, but I think it would be possible to try generating and playing with it...

I've only played the templates for 2 and 3 players so far. The difference is noticeable. The density of objects and everything else seems to be lower.

I found a manual, or rather, kind people provided it:

Now, I just need to translate it so that it's easier for many to understand the structure of the templates.
Unfortunately, some templates are not in the archive mentioned above... The manual is intended for version 5.5 of the mod, so some templates (like 2p-duel) may not function correctly; they need to be checked.

I also found a complete set of templates from mod 5.5. The respected Durman provided a zip archive of incomplete templates.
And I, in turn, am eager to share with you a complete list of all templates from mod 5.5.
Place the file named MMH55-Templates.pak in the root DATA folder.
