Hello everyone!
If this topic has already been created on this forum, please don't be too harsh.
You are my last hope and my belief that the problem I'm facing can be solved. I've searched the entire Russian internet – nothing. Only other players asking the same question.
The problem is as follows: in a Heroes 3.58f WOG online game (the WOG version isn't that important – this error exists in every version), the game freezes during a battle against a human player because the turn isn't passed to the opponent. This happens because the damage dealt in battle isn't synchronized.
For example, I attack the opponent's troops with my troops, dealing 700-1000 damage. My computer thinks I dealt 800 damage, but the opponent's computer thinks I dealt 900 damage. As a result, I see that the opponent has 100 monsters left on the battlefield, but he sees 90.
When one of the opponents has monsters that die, but the other opponent still sees those same monsters as alive, the game freezes because the turn isn't passed. It turns out that my computer thinks one of his monsters should move, but his computer thinks one of my monsters should move.
I hope I explained it clearly... I just don't know how to explain it better.
In general, I will be extremely grateful for any help.
P.S. When playing on a local network, you can, of course, save before the battle and take turns, which isn't very convenient, but this is the only solution I know so far. But when playing over the internet, when you and your opponent are in different cities, you can't take turns like that...
