There is a myth of a great Holy Warrior named Broderick, who was charged by the gods to destroy the demon Nodens for them. With his mighty sword he destroyed the demon and presented the gods with the trophy of the demon's ugly head. The gods were so pleased they infused his weapon and armor with a little of their power to protect him. This is thought to be the very sword he used to kill the great beast. Usable by Crusader and Paladin only. (Effects: +2 Blade, +2 Learning (+40 to hit with complete set))
